Tracy + Chris | AZ Desert Engagement at Papago Park
I would love to introduce you guys to Tracy + Chris. They are the winners of my couple's session giveaway. When I originally set up the giveaway, I had no idea about how many people I would get to enter. I was blown away by the responses. And the stories. So many incredible love stories. Each one unique and each one ending in a beautiful relationship. Some went through hard times, some endured long distance relationships, and many met online!! Love has no boundaries and I LOVED hearing from all of the amazing couples.
Tracy's story stood out to me. Here is her original post:
Single mom of 3 for 4 years going back to nursing school for my Nurse Practitioner. I was married and in an abusive destructive relationship for 12 years that ended in an ugly, bitter divorce and custody battle. Instead of harboring anger and regret I pulled up my boot straps and went back to school. This became my new passion and I never in a million years thought about the possibility of staring over. I met my fiancé at a Super Bowl party in 2015 but we didn't start seeing each other until two months later. Since then he has been an amazing example of strength, patience and love to my three children. I could not have asked God for a more perfect match at such an uncertain time. It sounds cliche but sometimes the most perfect things come at the
most imperfect times. As I look forward to starting over I think of it as a true rebirth and thank God
everyday for his perfection during my imperfect timing.
This girl....she is a ROCK star! She has overcome so many adversities and has done it with style and grace. She has worked so incredibly hard for her goals and is going to be the most amazing Nurse Practitioner Arizona has ever seen. I am so incredibly excited for she and Chris to start a new chapter together. They have already been through so much together and they continue to share in the joys of life and also the hard times....together!
Tracy wanted to add this to their little love story:
Christopher is the best. He is almost 41 years old (on Father's Day). He has never been married or has had children. He has embraced my children as his own and amazes me with his patience, grace and love. We met in February 2015 at a Super Bowl party in old town. While I was skeptical at first he never wavered in his commitment to me or our relationship. We were engaged in Aspen on Labor Day weekend and He has stood by me through NP school, boards, the death of my grandma and now I stand with him as he mourns the loss of his dad.
I cannot wait to start our life together as husband and wife and am so thankful to God for bringing him into my life!
They are getting married in Jamaica this October and their wedding is going to be nothing short of amazing!! I had a BLAST with Tracy and Chris hanging around Old Town Scottsdale and then heading to the beautiful Papago Park. Although we were out in the 115 degree heat...they rocked their session! So without further ado....here is the happy couple!
