The Lovebirds

A couple of weeks ago, I convinced my sister Mandy and her husband Josh to take me up to their stomping grounds in Flagstaff.  I wanted to scout out some areas for my upcoming mini sessions up there and just wanted to get away!  I also needed some practice posing couples, and they were the perfect models.  We drove up to Locket Meadow.  The road was crazy! I held on for dear life and prayed that Josh was as good of a driver as he claimed as I looked out the car window and over the edge to a very significant drop!  After my initial freaking out, I was able to enjoy the drive up the mountain to our destination.  We were really hoping for some fall colors, but it seems we missed it by a couple weeks this year.  The beauty of Locket Meadow did not disappoint, even if the trees had not changed colors.  It was breathtaking.  God's creation never ceases to amaze me and I love finding new areas to explore.  We had Andrew, my 3 year old in tow, so we did not know how far up the mountain we would get.  Surprisingly, he did a great job, and only stopped us a few times because 'his legs were slowing him down'.   Here are a few of my favorites from our little trip up there.  We were there in the middle of the day during the brightest sun, but we made the most of it! Mandy and Josh are going on 5 years of marriage and you would think they got married last week....I LOVE THEM!!!

I may be a little biased, but I think this girl is GORGEOUS! And she is just as beautiful on the inside.  She has a heart of gold and is such a blessing to me! She loves on my boys with a passionate love and is one of the best encouragers around.  She is kind of AMAZING!
